On September 12, 2025, the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) proudly participated in the inaugural Anchorage Aviation Day, hosted by Alaska Airlines. This vibrant event provided a dynamic platform for AMFA to champion the vital role of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) and inspire the next generation of aviation professionals.

AMFA Local 32's Alaska-based AMTs seized the opportunity to connect with over 700 junior and high school students, sparking their curiosity about aviation careers. From sharing hands-on insights into the life of an AMT to outlining clear pathways to enter this rewarding profession, our technicians showcased the expertise and dedication that keep aircraft soaring safely.
