AMFA – Southwest Airlines Seniority Integration Package
Referendum Notice
The AMFA – Southwest Airlines (SWA) Seniority Integration Committee has called for a
referendum regarding a Seniority Integration Package at SWA. The four components listed
below are being presented as a package requiring a single accept/reject vote:
The Company’s Seniority List Integration Proposal
The Transition Letter of Agreement
MCO Maintenance Controllers Letter of Agreement
Eliminate expiration date in March 29, 2011, Letter of Agreement
The complete text of the above documents are available at your Local and on the Member
Resources/ Elections and Referenda page of the AMFA National Web site at
www.amfanational.org.
The referendum notice and voting instructions will be mailed to eligible voters at the address on
file with AMFA National as of January 31, 2012. Any eligible member who has not received
voting instructions in the mail by February 9, 2012, or anyone having questions about the voting
process, should contact the Elections Administrator at 720-744-6629.
Votes for this referendum will be cast using the TrueBallot Inc. WebVote® and TeleVote®
systems. All active AMFA members in good standing employed by Southwest Airlines under the
Mechanics’ Collective Bargaining Agreement are eligible to vote in this referendum. Note: Any
member whose membership dues, fees, and/or assessment obligations have not been paid in full
is a member in bad standing, and therefore, their vote will be eliminated prior to the vote tally.
Members are strongly urged to resolve any arrearage prior to the tally so their vote will be
counted.
The voting period for this referendum will commence at 3:00 PM ET on January 31, 2012, and
will end at 10:00 AM ET on February 21, 2012, the day of the vote tally.
