Bylaws Amendment Announcement

Fellow Local 32 Members

The time has come again to address any proposed changes to our Local 32

Bylaws. Proposals will be accepted from the First Wednesday in January until the

First Wednesday in February (Feb. 01). Bylaws proposal forms can be printed from

the Local 32 website: www.amfa32.com Completed forms may be faxed to the local

office or hand delivered to any LEC member who will forward it to the Secretary.

After the proposal process has ended, the Bylaws Committee will review the

proposals to ensure that they do not conflict with the AMFA Constitution or Federal,

State or Local laws. The March Membership Meeting (March 7th ) will be the Bylaws

Amendment Meeting. The Bylaws Committee will present the proposed amendments

with their recommendations to the membership. The attending membership will have

the opportunity to discuss, amend and vote on each proposed amendment. Proposed

amendments that pass with a majority will be placed on a ballot and voted on by the

entire Local 32 membership. For a proposed amendment to be adopted, it will

require a 2/3 majority vote.

These are the rules by which our local runs please consider all proposals carefully.
