Seniority Integration Package and Letters of Agreement
Referendum Notice
The AMFA – Southwest Airlines (SWA) Seniority Integration Committee has called for a
referendum regarding a Seniority Integration Package and two Letters of Agreement at SWA:
AMFA – IBT SWA Seniority Integration Agreement and
AMFA – SWA Transition Agreement
Letter of Agreement #7
Letter of Agreement #8
The complete text of the above documents was sent to each member’s company email address
on May 9, 2012. If you have not received the TA, please contact the Elections Administrator at
720-744-6629.
The referendum notice and voting instructions will be mailed to eligible voters at the address on
file with AMFA National as of May 21, 2012. Any eligible member who has not received voting
instructions in the mail by May 29, 2012, or anyone having questions about the voting process,
should contact the Elections Administrator at 720-744-6629.
Votes for this referendum will be cast using the TrueBallot Inc. WebVote® and TeleVote®
systems. All active AMFA members in good standing employed by Southwest Airlines under the
Mechanics’ Collective Bargaining Agreement are eligible to vote in this referendum. Note: Any
member whose membership dues, fees, and/or assessment obligations have not been paid in full
is a member in bad standing, and therefore, their vote will be eliminated prior to the vote tally.
Members are strongly urged to resolve any arrearage prior to the tally so their vote will be
counted.
The voting period for this referendum will commence at 3:00 PM ET on May 21, 2012, and will
end at 10:00 AM ET on June 21, 2012, the day of the vote tally.
