AMFA SWA Appearance Technician Negotiations Update 18
The Negotiating Committee is providing this update to the AMFA Membership at Southwest Airlines. This is the only official authorized source of negotiating communications by the Committee.
The above AMFA and Southwest Airlines Representatives participated in open, formal negotiations, seeking contract changes in Section VI negotiations.
The Company and your Negotiating Committee countered Article 15 wage proposals during the negotiations on March 23rd. One of the main points of contention was the Company’s proposed 9 year pay scale. All of the Company’s pay rate increases are based on a 9 year pay scale and the AMFA’s proposals are based on the current 5 year pay scale.
